I am so excited to watch the opening ceremonies tonight and get the Olympics underway. I love the whole idea behind the greatest sporting event in the world - countries putting aside all conflict and political views to see the best athletes compete. While it doesn't always work out that way, I choose to keep the spirit alive and cheer on the best athletes!
I will be glued to the swimming events. I am not sure what is more exciting -- a 41 year old woman competing in her 5th Olympic games or a young man going for the most gold medals in Olympic history and/or a single Olympics!?! Tune in and enjoy!
