Betty's bedroom is upstairs, which means we had to figure out how to get her up to the second floor. We had a stair lift installed on Friday and here are pictures of Betty taking her first ride on it at bedtime tonight.

Move-In Day
Finally today, Betty moved in with us! Regina, Katie and I went over to Briarwood late this morning, where Betty has been living since we moved back to Seattle in October, packed up her things, said goodbye to all the wonderful folks there who took such good care of her and had her home in time for us to all have lunch together.

Betty looked anxious riding the staiflift. : ) But seriously, it will be good to always look closely at the wheels as part of your inspection routine. If any of the wheels do not turn easily on the track, it will need to be replaced.
