One of the things Regina's Dad, Alex, enjoyed was to capture the important and interesting events in his family's life in home movies. Fortunately, all of the 8mm films he shot were converted to DVD a few years ago and each of his kids now has a copy. Over the last few days, I have been reviewing all of that footage (whew!) and put together a 4-minute video of clips I pulled from Alex and Betty's home movies. Enjoy!

That is amazing!! Someone has got to show it to Betty. Don't you think she would enjoy watching it? They were a beautiful couple.
You should do this for a living... I keep saying! Thank you.
And they always sang "you are my sunshine" when we were growing up!
yes, gina, that's precisely why I chose that song. but, have you ever listened to the lyrics past the first verse? she leaves him to be with someone else! well, i couldn't put THAT in the video so i cut it off after the first verse! Fortunately, I found several instrumental versions of the song.
Mel, I fear that if Betty saw that video now, it would be more upsetting than uplifting. (I could be wrong, though.) Her therapists noticed some setbacks in her recovery upon hearing of Alex's death. Maybe she should see it later on when she's farther along.
Thanks Suzie...you are so talented!
WOW. Amazing job...
